Philosophy
We specialise in research-led design for applied human movement. We conduct quantitative and qualitative research, to find out how people communicate, congregate, work and learn. Our passion is developing new solutions in emergent fields, to improve the quality of life for people.
When we start with a focus, purely on the Human; their psychological, physiological and biophilic needs, we find that the concept, for something new and meaningful, designs itself.
Before we ever think about an end-product, we have observed and researched human behaviour and movement to gain new critical insights, as inspiration.

Process
Underpinned by a rigorous research and development process and inspired by the creativity that comes from the close collaboration of a diverse group of clients, the studio employs a bespoke approach for every project, resulting in more meaningful design and improved human experiences.
We design by making. At the heart of our studio is our workshop. Here we make physical models for all our projects. It’s chaotic and a bit messy, but making is one of the most important parts of our process. If you don’t hold something, play with something, share something around, you can’t make the emotional connection you need to be certain it’s right.
