The final Perch furniture range offers a significantly improved approach to furniture design for the student and classroom. The range showcases several unique features such as, height adjustable chair and desk, sloped work-surface, incorporated elbow rest, anti-slip removable laminate, storage trough, reading ledges, accessory trays and patented flexible seat technology.

The furniture is lightweight and stackable, and provides an extremely large range of adjustability. The unique removable, anti-slip, rubberised surface that is applied to the Perch desk, will allow each school to replace damaged surfaces when appropriate, and will enable them to attain a fresh new look to the classroom inexpensively. They can also vary colour options, when selecting the furniture.

This product has been manufactured using industry standard processes, such as injection moulding, plywood tooling, CNC Tube bending and robotic welding. The product exists only as a set of prototypes, to analyse a the structural integrity of the flexible seat and postures of the students. In total, 10 were made, and testing is ongoing, with very positive results.
