International Racket Squad

We LOVE International Racket Squad! They approached us with the task of visualising there very diverse identity. Even ten years ago, it would have been difficult to imagine a Dublin band with roots as mixed as International Racket Squad – a motley crew of Brazilians, Irish & Polish who have a love for dance, rap reggae, ska, rock, Brazilian music, funk and Afrobeat.

Their music straddles disco, funk, ska and political rap and the band cite influences like The Clash, James Brown & Daft Punk. With a wide-ranging subject matter – civil disorder, disco dance-offs & social injustice...  Among other venues, the band play a monthly Friday night residency at one of Dublin’s best live venues – The Globe Bar on South Great George’s St, where a full house and dancing on the tables are likely occupational hazards.
